About

I'm a digital artist from the UK, originally from a traditional art background with over 15 years in the art world. I transitioned to digital art when the computer screen became my primary creative outlet, as I’ve struggled with leaving the house at times due to phobias, with one period lasting as long as two years.

A lot of my work shows objects/sculptures being covered/smothered/hidden by organic/melting/blob forms. These pieces present an enchanting display of garish and vibrant colours that are both grotesque and beautiful. The melting organic forms convey a sense of constant flux, as if they are frozen in time yet still able to move and flow with fluidity.

The work delves into the concept of imaginary sculptures/paintings, emerging from a sense of longing. I kinda yearn for these creations to be tangible, displayed in a pristine, white gallery space that I fetishize. Yet, I find solace in their perpetual digital, JPG-unreality. The incorporation of AI introduces a new dimension, infusing the romantic notion that the AI itself desires for these sculptures, and perhaps its own existence, to be real. The unpredictable nature of 3D software and AI keeps the work in a state of tension, making it feel vividly alive, yet eerily disconnected from the human hand. It blurs the lines of authorship, leaving the question: who’s really in control.
